Mecanum stage wagon Orbiter

Our Stage Orbiter with Mecanum wheels is a highly flexible platform for movement on stage or in industrial applications. By utilizing specially designed Mecanum wheels, the system can move omnidirectionally, meaning it can travel in any direction without needing to reorient itself first.

How Mecanum Wheels Work
Mecanum wheels consist of multiple rollers mounted at a 45° angle to the main wheel’s axis. By precisely controlling the speed and direction of each individual wheel, the Stage Orbiter can execute various movement patterns:
• Forward & Backward: All wheels rotate in the same direction.
• Sideways Movement: The front and rear wheels rotate in opposite directions.
• Diagonal Movements: A combination of forward and sideways motion.
• Rotation on Its Own Axis: Wheels on one side rotate in the opposite direction to those on the other side.

Applications of a Stage Orbiter with Mecanum Wheels
Such an omnidirectional orbiter is commonly used in the following areas:
• Stage Technology: Moving props or camera systems on theater and event stages.
• Automation & Robotics: Flexible transport platforms in production lines.
• Research & Development: Test platforms for mobile robotic systems.

Thanks to its high maneuverability, the Stage Orbiter with Mecanum wheels offers precise and flexible control, making it indispensable for many modern applications.
