Our Orbiter stage wagon with Mecanum wheels is a highly flexible platform for movement on stage and in industrial environments. Thanks to specially designed Mecanum wheels, the system can move omnidirectionally - travelling in any direction without repositioning first.

How Mecanum Wheels Work
Mecanum wheels use multiple rollers mounted at a 45° angle to the wheel’s axis. By precisely controlling the speed and direction of each wheel, the Orbiter can perform a wide range of motion patterns:

• Forward & backward: all wheels rotate in the same direction.
• Sideways movement: the front and rear wheels rotate in opposite directions.
• Diagonal movement: a combination of forward and lateral motion.
• Rotation on its own axis: wheels on one side rotate opposite to those on the other side.
